Will I have to provide a packed lunch?

We provide breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch and afternoon tea at no additional cost to all the children attending the nursery. Parents may be required to provide packed lunch for their children when we go on trips. Our menu for the week is displayed on the notice board.

Do children have to wear a uniform?

Our toddler and pre-school units are required to wear uniform which consists of a sweatshirt priced at £10.00 each and a poloshirt at £ 8.00 each. Order forms can be obtained from the nursery office.

When was the nursery founded?

It was founded in April 2003 and acquired by the current directors in April 2004.

Do I have to pay the full fees when my child is a not attending nursery?

Yes, the full fees have to be paid during periods of holidays, sickness and nursery closure. Please see Our Terms and Conditions.  

Do I have to inform you if somebody else is collecting my child?

Yes especially if the person is not someone who regularly collects the child and is identified on the child's registration form, a senior member of staff must be informed. Additionally, the person must have the password. If we are not satisfied, we will give you a call before releasing your child.

What if I am late to collect my child?

Parents are asked to ensure that their child(ren) is/are collected promptly at 6.00 pm. Unless there are extenuating circumstances a charge of £1 a minute will apply.

Are all your staff qualified?

All members of staff hold a recognised childcare qualification or are working towards one. The management and some senior staff are qualified to degree level - see Our Carers page for more information.
