Free Childcare Entitlement
Childcare support:
We participate in the government’s 15 and 30 hours free childcare scheme for eligible parents of children aged 9 months to 4 years. Eligible parents can access either 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare per week, provided for 38 weeks of the years (Term time).
30 hours free childcare for children aged 9 months and older of eligible working parents/carers.
15 hours free childcare for eligible disadvantaged 2-year-olds (Applications are made via your Local Authority website).
15 hours universal entitlement for all 3 and 4 year olds. This is automatic from the term after your child’s 3rd birthday, no application required.
30 hours free childcare for eligible working parents/carers of 3 and 4 year olds.
Please note that the entitlements come into effect from the term after the relevant birthday.
